As of the National Hurricane Center's 1 a.m. CT advisory, Nate's winds were measured at 85 mph.The storm first made landfall Saturday in southeast Louisiana.

Nate was about 135 m (215 km) west-southwest of Montgomery Alabama with maximum sustained winds of 70 miles per hour (110 kmh), the center said in a 3:30 a.m. ET advisory, reported Reuters.
