New York Giants head coach Ben McAdoo announced Wednesday Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie would be suspended after the veteran cornerback left the team.
Dan Duggan of NJ Advance Media said Rodgers-Cromartie had conversations with McAdoo and the front office on Tuesday and Wednesday before he left.
Rodgers-Cromartie told Anderson that he got into an altercation with McAdoo on the sidelines during Sunday's loss to the Los Angeles Chargers "about playing".
