Police have opened a criminal investigation after a doctor at an after-hours clinic became verbally aggressive toward a patient for complaining about the long wait time, reports WCJB TV20 News, an ABC affiliate in Gainesville.
The dispute continues as Stipes daughter reassures her mom that it's okay and she had been filming the whole thing as she says to the doctor: "Okay you can get out of her face".
But that angered the doctor, who stepped into the waiting room to confront her, which was when Stipe's daughter began recording.
After the daughter points the camera directly to him and says: "What's your name?" the doctor aggressively slams the phone out of her hand and takes it away from her. She said she made an appointment for 6:30 p.m. and by 7:45 she still had not been seen by a doctor and was in "severe pain and throwing up in a trash can".
"Are you joking me?"

"Then, fine, get the hell out", the doctor replies, pointing toward the door.
When Stipe told the doctor that she just wanted to return to her home and wanted her co-pay back, the doctor told her to leave instantly. Gallogly is heard asking Stipe as she wonders why she hasn't been taken to an exam room more than an hour after her scheduled appointment.
Gainesville Police spokesman Ben Tobias confirmed to the media outlet that an investigation was pending.
After a heated exchange, Gallogly then asks Stipe, "Do you wanna be seen or not?"
The doctor released a statement to FOX 35 saying,"Ms. Stipe had been increasingly belligerent and abusive to office staff, cursing them and threatening them with violence", allegations which she has denied.
