At least 41 Afghan soldiers were killed in a Taliban attack on an Afghan army camp in the province of Kandahar which began late Wednesday.

Spokesman Dawlat Wazir said that 10 attackers were killed in the clashes. "The base is under ANA (Afghan National Army) control", Waziri added.
