Design-wise, the profile of the vehicle is same as before but compared to the older KUV100, the KUV100 NXT comes with fatter and more prominent plastic cladding along the wheel arches, side body and underbody to further emphasise its SUV character. Higher-spec variants come with 15-inch diamond cut alloy wheels. A couple of faux skid plate finished in brushed aluminium also charms the beauty of the beast. Mahindra has worked upon the dashboard of the new KUV100 NXT, which now looks a lot nicer compared to the previous one. The hatchback is equipped with a 7.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system loaded with GPS navigation on the top-spec K8 trim. Automatic transmission for both the variants is also in the offing. Also standard now is the 6-seater configuration, with the 5-seater becoming an option.

Both the motors are mated to a responsive 5-speed manual gearbox that comes as standard across the variants and now the company is working on an auto version as well, which is slated to be launched in India by the first-half of 2018.
