Police say man arrested after clinging to moving school bus

Leverne Doran was driving in Parkville, Maryland, Thursday afternoon when he says someone on the bus hit his auto with a bottle, WBAL reports.

The man eventually climbed on the front of the bus, holding onto the mirror while the bus was in motion.

The driver jumped out and demanded the bus driver open the door.

A Maryland man seen on video clinging to the front of a moving Baltimore County school bus has been arrested. "At that point, the driver of that vehicle got out of his vehicle", Sgt. Andrea Bylen said.

She says the driver sent all students onboard to the back of the bus.

Court documents show Doran faces multiple charges for disturbing the peace, disorderly conduct, obstructing a school bus driver, and malicious destruction of property. "So the man went around to the front of the bus and stood in front of the bus as it began to move forward".

But they were continuing to investigate "whether anybody else may have known about this incident before he carried it out". The Australian citizen of Filipino heritage is cooperating fully with authorities, her lawyer said.

Doran was taken into custody without incident.
