Sony, makers of the PlayStation 4, and direct rival of Microsoft and Nintendo, is publishing a game on the Nintendo Switch! The deserted Nintendo PlayStation, which fell through just before production began, has soured the relationship between the companies for the last two decades. It has released a trailer that includes game engine footage but there is no release date set yet.

Sony Music has announced the formation of a new publishing label entitled Unties.

Rhian Brewster, Rhian Brewster, Philip Foden, Curtis Anderson and Nya Kirby all found the target for England in the shootout. This is the third time England have advanced to the quarter-finals, the other two times being in 2007, 2011.

Before you get too excited, take note that this new venture is designed specifically to publish indie-style games so, sadly, don't expect Uncharted or The Last of Us to be making a Switch debut anytime soon.

As reported by Eurogamer, Tiny Metal is the indie strategy game being delivered to Nintendo Switch via Unties. The game will release on the PS4, PC, and Switch, where it will join another recent entry in the turn-based tactics genre, Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle.

The label will be operated by Sony Music Entertainment, named for its core mission to "unleash the excellent talents of unique game creators all over the world".

And then there's Merkava Avalanche, an unusual looking mix of mech-on-mech violence and high-speed chases across the desert. Rounding out the lineup is Deemo Reborn, a PS4 VR remaster of the 2013 rhythm action game and gothic indie gem Deemo. The Switch, however, seems like the new home for indies outside of PC. It's possible that Sony doesn't want to annoy other platform holders by having that name on their formats.
