Star Wars Battlefront 2's loot box system will be "balanced", according to EA, with the publisher reportedly looking into ways that will ensure that the game is "fun for everyone". We're taking a look at some of the most discussed topics, from Crates and progression to Strike mode (which we're considering changing to a best of three), the Specialist's Infiltration ability (which might be a little too overpowered) and more. Hopefully this makes Battlefront 2 a much fairer game, and nullifies the overall value of loot boxes so that they don't become intrusive for players who don't want to fork out more cash.
Players have not responded well to the loot crate system in the Battlefront 2 beta, which grants users various perks based on what they collect from them. This is heightened by the fact that crates will be purchasable with crystals, meaning the more money players invest, the bigger chance they have at getting more powerful loot.
Uber files appeal against Transport for London
Earlier this week, London mayor Sadiq Khan said the appeal against Transport for London "will take its course". Uber plans to put forward further reasons for its appeal before a planned hearing on December 11.
Crates will continue to contain Star Cards, along with outfits, emotes, and victory poses.
There is more player choice in multiplayer through a deeper progression system and an evolving, event-driven live service that keeps the community together by moving away from Season Pass and having all new gameplay content free for all Star Wars Battlefront II players.
Firecrackers ban: SC to hear traders' plea today
The apex court in 2005 had also directed that there should be a complete ban on bursting sound-emitting firecrackers between 10 pm and 6 am.
Extending the beta also gives the developers a good idea of what bugs there might be left that still need to be iron out.
The standard edition of Battlefront 2 releases on November 17 and includes all of the core game features, including a cinematic campaign and a full suite of online and offline multiplayer modes. Star Card upgrades and unlocking weapons can be achieved with a high enough rank which means you need to play to get your hands on these.
Microsoft Edge now available on Play Store
You'll be sent a link that will take you to the Play Store page for Microsoft Edge , where you can install the browser. In a surprise move last week, Microsoft said it was bringing its Edge Web browser to Android and iOS platforms.
Star Cards, which grant players special weapons and abilities, were also briefly mentioned by EA. The wording of the statement seems to show that this is a direct result of the feedback from the beta, the game is out in month and the in-game economy would have been finalised many months prior to release so for EA to say they are "working towards" something it does sound like they have changed their minds.
