At least 3 KILLED after shooter opens fire at school

The shooting happened at or near an elementary school in Rancho Tehama around 8:00 am. local time.

The school has been cleared and the children at the school are in a safe place, Assistant Sheriff Phil Johnston told reporters.

At least three people have been killed and two children wounded in a shooting in a small community about 15 miles southwest of Red Bluff this morning.

As it was too late for the pilot abort his take-off, he took the plane up but landed again after a 45-minute sortie over the sea. The incident occurred at around 10 p.m. on Sunday when the wild boar ran into the flight path, hitting a rear wheel.

Law enforcement officials have killed the alleged shooter. The Redding Record Searchlight reports a 30-year-old man has also been taken to the hospital with gunshot wound to the thigh. The gunman was reportedly shot by police.

An official at the Corning Elementary School District confirmed the elementary school in Rancho Tehama is on lockdown.

A 6-year-old and another child are among the injured. According to local law enforcement, there were "multiple victims in multiple locations".

The top gainer on both indices was Hero MotoCorp, whose share prices rose 2.1% on the Nifty and 1.96% on the Sensex . The broader markets also traded in line with benchmarks, with the Nifty Midcap falling 0.2 percent.

Police are investigating at least five crime scenes.
