Fallon teased the appearance on his Instagram earlier Monday, saying, "I wanted to make sure we have a very very special, big musical performance and we got one!" The show ran reruns all last week as he mourned, and celebrities posted numerous condolences on social media.

Jimmy Fallon held back tears as he introduced Monday night's Tonight Show, the first episode he filmed following the death of his mother, Gloria.

Police identify 4 killed in Detroit-area crash
Michael Shaw said. "Just the amount of carnage I guess involved in this crash, it kind of set a lot of people back", Shaw said. The SUV skidded across the roadway and hit the Eight Mile bridge at the border of Harper Woods and St.

Fallon, who couldn't hide his emotions, thanked the audience members and fans for their support as he recovered from the loss.

The emotional host shared a story about his mother squeezing his hand three times to signify, "I love you", when he was a child. The song's lyrics proved appropriate to Fallon's emotional return, particularly this line: "You squeeze my hand three times in the back of the taxi / I can tell that it's gonna be a long road / I'll be there if you're the toast of the town, babe / Or if you strike out and you're crawling home".

Ajmal took 178 wickets in the 35 Test matches, while in 113 ODIs he had 184 scalps to his name and 85 batsmen in 64 T20Is. Ajmal, who remodelled his action two years ago after being termed illegal, failed to make his place in the team.

The presenter said everyone at the show would "continue to work really hard to bring some light and some laughter into the world".

Vontaze Burfict Triumphantly Exits Field After Ejection
The second penalty was for making contact with a referee during an altercation with a Titans offensive lineman. Two plays earlier, Burfict was called for a personal foul after hitting DeMarco Murray late out of bounds.

Fallon has spoken about his mother in the past, memorably in a 2004 interview with NY magazine. "Whatever you think of Taylor, she did something handsome for Jimmy and our show today, and we're forever grateful", said DiCenzo. Thank you to Taylor, the Roots, [Steve Higgins], our whole staff and crew, and to all the FalPals, fans, and everyone who reached out to and supported Jimmy and his family.
