Officials responding to reported shooting near elementary school in Rancho Tehama


Tehama County Assistant Sheriff Phil Johnston said that officers are investigating at least five crime scenes in and around the school in Rancho Tehama Reserve, about 130 miles north of Sacramento. The gunman was later killed by police. Authorities recovered a semi-automatic rifle and two handguns reportedly used by the shooter.

Authorities said multiple shots were fired at Rancho Tehama Elementary School around 8 a.m. and there were multiple victims.
