Barely five minutes into the game, Gamecocks quarterback Jake Bentley was backed up inside his own five-yard line when he threw an interception to Gators cornerback CJ Henderson.

Then, in true Florida fashion, the defense forced SC to punt. only to muff said punt return. only to pick off Bentley again. and almost run that back for an interception. Later in the first quarter, wide receiver Freddie Swain delivered a ideal block to give Kadarius Toney 23 yards of open space.

The Gamecocks improved to 7-3 on the season with two games remaining.
