Ashley Burch returning for Life is Strange: Before the Storm bonus episode

Burch's portrayal of Chloe Price in the first season of Life is unusual was critically acclaimed and fans were expecting her to reprise the role for the prequel. Despite her absence, DeVries did a fantastic job capturing Chloe's essence in the prequel series and bringing the character to life. But for fans of Burch, there's some good news on the horizon.

The bonus episode "Farewell" from Before the Storm's Deluxe Edition will be releasing in early 2018 and in even more exciting news; Hannah Telle and Ashly Burch will be returning to play Max and Chloe!

The film will head off against " Artemis Fowl ", Disney's adaptation of the popular sci-fi and fantasy series. According to the Hollywood Reporter, the Pulp Fiction director's latest will hit theaters on August 9, 2019.

The SAG-AFTRA voice actor's strike officially came to a close earlier this month, following a tentative agreement put together in September. And "Farewell" looks like it will end up being the last time Life is odd fans really get to see both characters spend time together, as DONTNOD has hinted that the series will eventually move away and focus on other characters.

The two actresses will both reprise their roles from the original series for the prequel episode, which is set before the events of Before the Storm, and will the two childhood friends together in Arcadia Bay before Max departs for Seattle. In "Farewell", players will resume control of Max, just like they did in the first game, rather than Chloe, as has been the case in Before the Storm.

Ashly has already been working with the writing team at Deck Nine Games and will take up the role of young Chloe. There's no projected release date for the episode just yet.
