Baltimore Ravens Defeat Cleveland Browns 27-10: 3 Big Things


When the Ravens ran three plays (two runs) from Cleveland's one-yard line and failed score a touchdown, it felt like the game would turn into a Justin Tucker special. The Ravens have dominated Cleveland for more than a decade, going 17-2 straight up versus the Browns dating back to 2008 and look good value to make that 18-2 on Sunday.

On the next play, Za'Darius Smith got loose on the edge and stripped Browns rookie quarterback DeShone Kizer in the end zone. Brandon Williams then fell on the ball for a relatively easy big-man touchdown.

Three plays later, Flacco hooked up with tight end Benjamin Watson for a 33-yard scoring pass.

Baltimore tried to expand the 3-0 lead in the second quarter and had first-and-goal on the Browns 4, but on fourth-and-goal from the 1, linebacker James Burgess tripped up Ravens running back Alex Collins for a 3-yard loss. The loss dropped the Browns to 0-14 with two games remaining at Chicago and Pittsburgh. Two runs by Kizer then set up Duke Johnson's 12-yard touchdown run to give the Browns a 7-3 lead.

And as per usual, SpaceX plans to land this Falcon 9 after take off at the company's ground-based landing site, Landing Zone 1. It has broken new ground in aeronautics by recycling its Falcon 9 rockets and Dragon capsules.

The Ravens defense forced four turnovers and finished with nine takeaways in two games against the Browns this year.

It's not an unfamiliar sight in Browns games, where defensive backs have played a ridiculous distance from the line of scrimmage.

On the Browns next possession, running back Isaiah Crowell ran for 59 yards. Safety Eric Weddle and cornerback Brandon Carr added to the league-leading interception total with a pick apiece.

Kizer later threw his second interception of the day on third down inside the Baltimore 10-yard line when he floated a pass into triple coverage.
