Dwayne Johnson has certainly made his mark on Hollywood over the years, and the wrestler-turned-actor is now being honored for his contributions to the industry with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, Variety reports.

"Everyone loves Dwayne Johnson!".

Dwayne (The Rock) Johnson will get a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame

Not everyone is famous enough to get their own star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

Johnson will next be seen starring opposite Kevin Hart and Jack Black in Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle, opening nationwide December 20.

Apple might move back to metal for one iPhone 9 model
Besides the LCD-variant, Apple is going to launch two other iPhones with OLED displays measuring 5.8- and 6.5-inches respectively. Meanwhile, the iPhone X only comes in Silver or Space Gray and the iPhone 8 in Silver, Spacer Gray, and Gold.

Within the past year, Johnson has graced the silver screen in several films such as, "Baywatch", the eighth segment of "The Fast and The Furious" and will be in the lead role for "Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle" that premieres in late December. Johnson responded by tweeting a heartfelt and grateful message, and then he (jokingly?) added that he'd be providing tequila. In 2019, Johnson will star with Jason Statham in a "Fast and Furious' spin-off movie based on his breakout character Hobbs". According to Forbes, the actor netted $65 million while his movies have grossed almost $3 billion at the box office.

The Rock made guest appearances on television shows during most of his early acting career, but The Great One made his first appearance in a major film as The Scorpion King in The Mummy Returns in 2001. In 2011, he returned to wrestling again, fighting five times over the course of two years. He is set to join the ranks of some of Hollywood's most iconic stars, and he certainly knows what a huge honor it is.
