England provisionally suspend Ben Duckett after 'alcohol-related incident'


Part of the England Lions squad, Duckett was due to play against the Cricket Australia XI team, but has been suspended pending a disciplinary hearing.

"Duckett was meant to be opening the batting for England in the two-day tour match against a Cricket Australia XI at Richardson Park that started on Saturday", cricket.com.au reported.

Mark Wood and Jake Ball took the new ball for England but neither was able to earn a breakthrough or show anything to suggest they should replace Craig Overton in the Test XI.
