Francis Ngannou opens as betting favourite against Stipe Miocic

After Ngannou's knockout of Alistair Overeem on the main card of UFC 218, everyone in attendance knew we had ourselves a new No. 1 contender, and this would be made official by Dana White in the post-fight press conference.

The deal hasn't been done yet, but betting markets on the fight have been opened. Ngannou (11-1), however, has been active, stopped every fighter put in front of him, and is every opponent's nightmare: big, strong, fast, and hits like a Mack truck.

And Ngannou - who only took up the sport of MMA four years ago - is the bookies' favourite.
