GM Drivers Can Now Order a Starbucks From Their Car's Touchscreen

The feature will be made available through a simple tap of the button on a GM car's dashboard, which the vehicle retailer believes will allow for a smoother and safer commute for drivers.

GM (gm) launched a new commerce feature Tuesday that will let owners of more than 2 million vehicles with 4G service order and pay for food, make dinner reservations, reserve a parking space, or pay for gas using the touchscreen inside their auto, truck, or SUV.

It's called Marketplace and it's rolling out this month in all 2017 and 2018 Chevy, Buick, GMC and Cadillac models.

"Our integration with GM's Marketplace provides our Starbucks Rewards customers with an additional opportunity to order their favorite Starbucks beverages while on the go", a Starbucks press representative. said Tuesday in a statement issued to International Business Times.
