Jay-Z Receives Death Threat From George Zimmerman Over Trayvon Martin Documentary

George Zimmerman is apparently pretty upset over the production of Jay-Z's Trayvon Martin documentary series, Rest In Power: The Trayvon Martin Story.

"If one hair on Jay's hair is touched that's when the revolution will be televised", Snoop wrote on Instagram in response to Zimmerman's threats, before criticizing the justice system for letting Zimmerman "get away with [the] murder" of Trayvon Martin.

Zimmerman's threat could be considered a felony in Florida. The project will chronicle the too-short life of Martin, his fatal shooting by on February 26, 2012, and Zimmerman's acquittal the following year. Zimmerman assumed Martin was up to no good and took the law into his own hands, prosecutors said.

Zimmerman says he holds the rapper, whose real name is Shawn Carter, and his executive producer Michael Gasparro responsible for having "harassed" his family, saying that 'anyone who f***s with my parents will be fed to an alligator'.

Zimmerman was charged in Martin's death but after claiming he shot Martin in self-defense, a jury acquitted him of second-degree murder and manslaughter in July 2013, sparking protests and outrage worldwide.
