"We understand that in the mid-premium range smartphones, consumers demand a complete package - a smartphone that has best in class cameras, screen that is large enough for content viewing, battery that doesn't drain in a day and off course aesthetics that are head turner. We are known to bring revolutionary products to the range of millions of Indians and this is another step in that direction". Just four months after that, the company has launched an updated smartphone which is dubbed as the Infinity Pro. "We are certain that this device will strengthen Micromax's portfolio on Flipkart by providing customers a great selection across various price segments", said Ayyappan Rajagopal, Senior Director - Mobiles, Flipkart. The pricing of the phone is certainly higher than the Rs. 9,999 Canvas Infinity, which raises the question is it worth the hike? The FullView display combined with symmetrically curved look offers good grip on the phone and the latest design quotient. Under the hood, it is powered by the octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 430SoC paired with 4GB of RAM. On the storage front, the device offers 64GB of internal memory along with an expandable memory card slot that can accommodate up to 128GB. According to the company, the battery on this device is rated to give up to 20 hours of talk time and lasts up to 420 hours on standby. The phone runs Android 7.1 Nougat and has a 3000mAh battery. The rear houses a 16MP camera with LED flash as well as a fingerprint sensor. Upfront there is a dual camera system which consists of 20MP+8MP sensors. It also has features like Face Beauty mode, Auto scene detection and Face Gallery.

The Canvas Infinity Pro smartphone will also be exclusive to Flipkart, like its sibling Canvas Infinity.
