Nawaz's 'Saudi visit plan' talk of the town

Sharif landed at Riyadh airport on Saturday night and was greeted by Khan Hasham bin Siddique, Pakistan's ambassador to Saudi Arabia.

Regardless of the lack of enthusiasm of the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) to authoritatively state anything about the ex- premier's leaving, a seat has been booked in Sharif's name for a Jeddah-bound flight for Saturday, as per the information of the Dawn.

Meanwhile, refuting the rumours regarding Shehbaz Sharif's sojourn in Saudi Arabia, the most powerful minister of Shehbaz Sharif-led Punjab cabinet, Rana Sanaullah had said that the younger Sharif's visit to Saudi Arabia did not carry any political motives as he went there just to resolve the problems that the Muslim Ummah were facing these days.

Egypt gun attack: Church stormed in Helwan province
Police later cordoned off the crime scene as onlookers crowded around the church, while a forensics team combed the area. The health ministry said five people had been wounded, including two women who it said were in a serious condition.

Pakistan's opposition has interpreted the embattled Sharifs' Saudi trip as a move to win the National Reconciliation Ordinance (NRO).

Major political parties - the Pakistan Tahreek-e-Insaf (PTI), the Pakistan Peoples' Party (PPP) - have already rejected any such possibility and warned that they will not accept any such move.

Sharif will be expected to tone down his barbed attacks against the military and in exchange some sort of deal could be in the offing under which Shahbaz Sharif would be given the military's endorsement as the country's next prime minister while Nawaz Sharif would be allowed to retain his position as the president of the ruling PML-N party.

Gruden on Raiders offer: `C'mon man . . . I've got nothing to report'
And 2017 has been a season that has been fraught with melodrama and a lack of chemistry on both sides of the ball for the Raiders. Every offseason, there are always rumors that Gruden is going to return to coaching.

However, official the PML-N claims that Sharif brothers are not trying to get any NRO but are visiting Saudi Arabia to discuss challenges faced by the Muslim world.

The Sharif family is facing three corruption cases linked to the scandal. He is believed to have prepared the ground for the visit of his elder brother.

As per informed sources in the federal government, reports suggesting a possible "NRO" are based on assumptions.
