Reports indicate that Manigault Newman attempted to "storm the residence" of President Trump Tuesday, setting off alarms, after she was told by White House Chief of Staff John Kelly that she was being terminated less than a year into Trump's presidency.
Stephen Colbert is "livid" about the White House reportedly firing Omarosa Manigault Newman, but not for the reason you think.

Sources said Manigault-Newman drew Kelly's ire by going around him to communicate directly with the President.
During the 2016 presidential campaign, Newman rallied crowds ahead of Trump's appearances, traveling the country with an informal group of other "women for Trump" to make his case.
"Certainly I had more access than most, and people had problems with that and people had problems with my 14-year relationship with the president", she said.
