It's the holiday season, and Overwatch is celebrating adequately. Overwatch director Jeff Kaplan is also promising new legendary skins are coming soon. Just as the Halloween and Summer events both tweaked their existing limited time brawls, Winter Wonderland is introducing a new arcade mode entirely.
Overwatch's festively themed Winter Wonderland event will return next week, Tuesday December 12th, Blizzard has announced.
Cubs give RHP Chatwood 3-yr., $38M deal
Since 2016, Chatwood is tied with Washington's Stephen Strasburg for the second-best road ERA in the NL at 2.57. Chicago has signed right-hander Tyler Chatwood to a three-year deal, the team announced Thursday afternoon.
We expect to get a glimpse of more skins leading up to the event next week. King's Row and Hanamura will once again be sporting their frosty good looks, and there's a new seasonal update for the Black Forest arena map too.
While Winter Wonderland is a revival of last year's event, Blizzard is bringing some major new additions.
General Electric proposes 1400 jobs cuts in Switzerland (GE)
Crow Point Partners Llc, which manages about $937.00M and $607.94 million US Long portfolio, upped its stake in Spark Energy Inc. Finally, Tuttle Tactical Management LLC bought a new position in General Electric in the 2nd quarter valued at $209,000.
Finally, a completely new game mode will be Mei's Yeti Hunt - an asymmetrical 1 v 5 boss fight. Players are tasked with hunting him down before his rage sets in. But once Winston triggers Primal Rage, the mode flips: It becomes all about the Meis attempting to escape before Winston can kill them. The familiar 6v6 "Mei's Snowball Offensive" will return (also playable on the Black Forest map), but it will be joined by the brand-new "Mei's Yeti Hunt". When the Yeti is defeated, the group of Meis wins, whereas if a certain number of Meis die, the Winston player wins.
"I know a lot of you are thinking it sounds kind of silly and kind of ridiculous", said Kaplan of Mei's Yeti Hunt. "Well, I'm here to tell you it absolutely is". "But the point of some of these seasonal brawls are just to be fun and light and refreshing for a period of time".
