Simmba: Ranveer Singh to play quirky cop in KJo-Rohit Shetty collaboration

This morning Karan Johar took to his Twitter and unveiled the teaser poster of Simmba featuring Ranveer Singh!

First ever collaboration of Karan Johar, Rohit Shetty and Ranveer Singh, titled Simmba, drops its first look poster and takes the social media by storm! The two have already collaborated on a television show.

Adding further, the source said, "There have also been reports that Ranveer may lend his name as a co-producer, under his mother's (Anju Bhavnani) name, along with the producer of the Telugu film Temper, Bandla Ganesh".

The first-look poster of Simmba is as colourful as one would expect for a personality as varied and wild as Singh's.

Temper is all about the story of a corrupt officer who joins hands with wrong people.

Rohit Shetty and Ranveer Singh have previously worked on a commercial for a brand of noodles and also created an extended short film as part of the brand promotions.

Rohit had earlier told PTI, "I will start the film next year in May or June".

"We have bought the rights of Temper but our film is not exactly a remake". Our film was different from the original Singham except a few scenes. The film is slated to release worldwide on 28th December 2018.

Whereas, Ranveer is the lead actor, there are strong rumours of Tamannaah Bhatia or Kajal Aggarwal being the lead actress in the movie.
