Trump slurs his words in a public speech, sparking health concerns

Spokesman Raj Shah told the Los Angeles Times it was a case of "dry mouth".

Near the end of his speech on Wednesday the president started breathing heavily and when he concluded with "God bless the United States" the word "States" sounded like "Shtates".

"I say forget the Mueller investigation, bring on the molar investigation".

We do know that had this been any other American president, whose speech slurred inexplicably towards the end of a public appearance, there would be immediate public speculation about his health, and immediate demands for the White House to explain the incident the president experienced today.

Others suggested the president's teeth had "joined the resistance" in protest at his decision to begin plans to move the US embassy to Jerusalem.

A clip from the president's speech on Jerusalem appeared to show him struggling to enunciate certain words and sucking in his teeth-in a move that did not go unnoticed by the Twittersphere.

Noah seized on the historic moment to make the pettiest of observations: That a 71-year-old man might wear dentures.

In the last 30 seconds of the speech, however, his pronunciation of some words seemed to slur.

Noah speculated Trump was wearing dentures.

"By the way, there's no shame in having dentures", Noah said.

The visit would also seek to boost investment and cultural exchange programmes between London and the sub-continent. He is scheduled to spend three days in Pakistan and will travel to Lahore, Islamabad, and Karachi.

Noah said that if people tweeted the hashtag #DentureDonald, it would upset Trump because he is vain.

"I am really looking forward to this January 30".

"I know what you're getting at", Shah replied.

Some people, including "The Daily Show" host Trevor Noah, speculated that this was because Trump had dentures.
