Westbrook's triple-double helps Thunder rally past Jazz

The last time they won here in October of 2010, Donovan Mitchell was in junior high school.

But it's on nights like Tuesday when Roberson shows fans and the rest of the league just why the Thunder want him on the court during the most crucial stretches. The Jazz were sinking shots and playing aggressive defense as they built up a 17-point lead against the Thunder and appeared to be on their way to their seventh straight win of the season. Russell Westbrook turned it up defensively.

The victory was the third in a row for the Thunder.

In the two previous games, against the Minnesota Timberwolves and San Antonio Spurs, Anthony attempted a total of 17 shots; and for the first time in his career, he scored in single digits in consecutive games.

"He changed the game", Oklahoma City's Russell Westbrook said of Roberson. "He gave them a lot of energy and points".

Steven Adams has continued his hot run of recent form with a 20-point haul for Oklahoma City Thunder in their 100-94 National Basketball Association win over Utah Jazz. Thabo Sefalosha finished with 11 points, eight rebounds and four steals in a fine performance off the bench, and Alec Burks also scored 11 in a reserve role. Steven Adams added 20 markers and Carmelo Anthony posted 14 points in the win.

The Thunder finally took the lead on a layup by Westbrook with about four minutes remaining.

They never trailed in the first half as they led 28-19 after the first quarter and 47-39 at halftime.

That was all the Thunder needed to close out the Jazz. Westbrook already has seven triple-doubles this season.
