There are quite a handful of companies competing against each other in the music streaming industry. Now, on the back of the success of Spotify and Apple, they are beginning to recover.

Google is getting ready to launch its new music subscription service under YouTube 's brand in march, according to a new Bloomberg report. The company has already penned down details with Warner Bros.

The one major advantage YouTube could have over its rivals is a huge catalog of video content to complement its music library. Google introduced audio-only streaming service Google Play Music in 2011.

YouTube 's new music service, which is reportedly internally known as Remix, will be the successor of the company's existing music streaming service, Google Play Music.

There are still a few months left for YouTube to make things happen and it will certainly be interesting to see how things develop. YouTube has reached out to artists to seek their help in promoting the new service, one of the people said.
