Android Nougat starts rolling out for Samsung Galaxy C7 Pro in India

South Korean tech giant Samsung Electronics will unveil its flagship Galaxy S9 at the upcoming Mobile World Congress in February, dismissing earlier reports that the launch will take place at the Consumer Electronics Show 2018. Here's what to expect.

The next entry in the hugely-successful Galaxy S smartphone range will be unveiled next month, Samsung has confirmed.

Its first official appearance will be an event that will take place next month so that nearly certainly means that it will be Mobile World Congress (MWC), an annual event which takes place in Barcelona and kicks off on 26 February.

Alongside the Galaxy S9, the company will also roll out Bixby 2.0 this year, which is promised to have better integration with devices and include third-party support as well.

The price for the Galaxy S9 series is expected to be more than $800, and in India this could translate to Rs 60,000 plus going by previous pricing that Samsung has adopted. The company will announce more details as well as the sales date at the show.

The phone comes preloaded with Samsung Pay, which allows users to transact virtually.

Despite this bold move, the Samsung Galaxy J2 2018 has not been launched yet, instead, the company has quietly launched the Pro version of this phone dubbed Galaxy J2 Pro 2018. Koh said that the biggest challenge in commercialization was the UX, but Samsung is working on it.

The phone Galaxy A8+(2018) comes with a sticker price of Rs.32,990.

Under the hood, the smartphone should pack the Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 or the Samsung Exynos 9810 processor depending on the market.
