Switch isn't the only platform that the game will be coming to, as Dark Souls Remastered will also be coming to PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC. Sure, Dark Souls III is the "big closure" to the series, but Miyazaki never ruled out FromSoft revisiting earlier games in the series since remastering games is all the rage these days. Dark Souls Remastered will also support up to six players in online multiplayer. For the Nintendo Switch, the game will run in 1080p at 30fps in TV mode, according to Bandai Namco.

The critically acclaimed RPG was previously available on PS3, Xbox 360 and PC before being followed-up by two similarly beloved sequels.
