Diet Coke Announces Biggest Product & Marketing Makeover in Its History

As part of the relaunch, Coca-Cola has introduced four new "millenial-inspired" flavours to the Diet Coke portfolio - Ginger Lime, Feisty Cherry, Zesty Blood Orange and Twisted Mango. Soda sales have fallen as more people switch to low-calorie drinks and flavored fizzy water like La Croix.

This company has listened to fans, and has made a decision to bring back Diet Coke's original formula, while also bringing four fruity new flavors.

Rafael Acevedo of Coca-Cola North America says the new marketing will be "more authentic" and "a lot more gender neutral and diverse".

After 35 years, Coca-Cola's Diet Coke is getting a new modern look and four new flavors. Coca-Cola said they spent years trying out more than 30 different combinations - from tropical to citrus to botanical - and tested them on more than 10,000 people when picking the new flavors.
