First Photos of 'Handmaid's Tale' Season 2 Tease Bloody Offred

After a fantastic spell of win at Emmys, Golden Globes and Critics Choice Awards, the dystopic alternate reality show is one of the most highly anticipated shows of the year. Another photo sees the Handmaids walking through a graveyard amid a heavy snow. One can safely assume that this might be a punishment for protesting against the system in the last season.

The disturbing landscape forbids women from working or being out in public alone; refers to homosexuals as "gender traitors", and forces women to become breeding factories in a world where a government conspiracy led to a dwindling in fertility rates.
