Israel PM to arrive on six-day India trip

Israel's foreign ministry deputy director general for Asia, Gilad Cohen, on Wednesday said the trip was meant to further deepen political, trade and cultural ties.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu will be visiting India on a six-day tour.

Netanyahu will be the first Israeli prime minister to visit India since the late Ariel Sharon traveled to the subcontinent in 2003. Calling Mr. Netanyahu and Prime Minister Narendra Modi as "ideological soulmates", the edit says: "One represents right-wing ultra Jewish nationalism while the other is an advocate of right-wing Hindutva nationalism".
