After 18 years Red Fort terror attack accused LeT operative has been nabbed from the Indira Gandhi International Airport in New Delhi.

"The militant we arrested travelled to Delhi from Srinagar in a flight", Joint Commissioner of Police (Special Cell) MM Oberoi said.

Special Cell in its remand application of Bilal Ahmed Kawa said he had helped a Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) commander to distribute illegal funds received from Pakistan using his bank account.

"Both of them are innocents and nothing was found against Bilal Ahmad Kawa at that time too when a team from Delhi arrived to investigate the matter".

Earlier, terrorist Mohammad Arif alias Ashfaq, who was convicted in the case, had been awarded death sentence.
