President Trump tweets 'good old Global Warming' could help with frigid temps

It's hardly the first time that Trump has tweeted his skepticism about climate change - at one point, he said that the concept of global warming was "created by and for the Chinese in order to make US manufacturing non-competitive".

"Perhaps we could use a little bit of that good old Global Warming", Trump said in a mocking tweet late Thursday, referring to predictions that NY will experience one of the coldest New Year's ever Sunday night during the annual ball drop and celebration in Times Square.

'Perhaps we could use a little bit of that good old global warming that our country, but not other countries, was going to pay TRILLIONS OF DOLLARS to protect against.

The part of Trump's tweet getting the least notice is his declaration that the United States, not any other signatories of the Paris Accord, would have footed a bill for trillions of dollars to pay for it.

Vinny Guadagnino, the tanned, ear-pierced fist-bumper of Jersey Shore fame, took to Twitter this weekend to educate the USA president on the nuances of climate change and how it's less simplistic than global warming = hotter temperatures.

Extreme cold warning issued for most of New Brunswick
If you're going out for New Year's Eve, you could be ringing in 2018 with windchill values near minus 35. Wind chills will moderate providing some temporary relief from the extreme cold during the daytime.

Twitter had a lot to say about this latest Trump dispatch, and we'll be posting some of best the reactions shortly.

However, parts of Alaska and western Canada often see drastically low temperatures this time of year.

Incidentally, scientists predict that 2017 will be the second or third warmest year since record-keeping began.

From January through November, this year's average USA temperature was the third warmest in records going back to 1895.

The accord set goals for slowing the rate of climate change by reducing the emissions that contribute to melting Arctic ice, increasing sea levels and changing weather patterns across the globe. Also, as Weather.com notes, cold snaps have actually been linked to global warming.

Saints lose to the Bucs, host Panthers in the playoffs
Ingram and Kamara were able to set an incredible record by each reaching at least 1,500 scrimmage yards in a single season. The loss dropped the Saints (11-5) to the fourth seed in the NFC playoffs, and they'll host Carolina next week.

"I think that's the number one most important thing, because we can all take individual actions to reduce our carbon footprint, and we all should, but the problem is too big for individual action", he said.

"Most of the planet is expected to be warmer than average over the next few days". I know much about climate change. "Meanwhile, Alaska is having one of its mildest Decembers on record, causing problems for transportation".

Trump's statement referred to the Paris Agreement, which he pulled out of in June.

"India makes its participation contingent on receiving billions and billions and billions of dollars in foreign aid from developed countries.the bottom line is that the Paris Accord is very unfair, at the highest level, to the United States.compliance with the terms of the Paris Accord and the onerous energy restrictions it has placed on the USA could cost America as much as 2.7 million lost jobs by 2025", he fumed.
