The poll says that 51 percent of Americans answered that Democrats should not impeach the president if they regain the House in the midterm elections in 2018.

Results from the poll also revealed that 37 per cent of voters feel Trump's policies were helping the economy, compared to the 29 per cent that said his policies were hurting the economy.

Sixty-three percent of respondents say he is not honest; 59 percent say he does not have good leadership skills; and 59 percent said he does not care about average Americans. "That is the highest number ever recorded by this poll".

Sixty-nine percent of respondents said Trump is not levelheaded, while 28 percent disagreed.
