However, a knee injury sidelined Eason and opened the door for Jake Fromm, who led the Bulldogs to the doorstep of the national title.

Coming off a solid true freshman season, Jacob Eason was Georgia's starter for its season opener.

Georgia quarterback Jacob Eason is expected to transfer to the University of Washington, according to a report by the Seattle Times. A dual-threat quarterback, Fields announced he plans to enroll at Georgia this winter, allowing him to participate in spring football. "Right now, I'm just spending time with this team ... and we'll go from there".

Bo Scarbrough Says He Yelled "F*** Georgia", Not "F*** Trump"
It isn't out of the realm of possibility that Scarbrough uttered those words and is now trying to cover his tracks. Scarbrough also tweeted "If y'all really listen I said Georgia smh about y'all people in this".

Eason was once a five-star recruit and arguably the top quarterback prospect in the nation, but Kirby Smart made a decision to stick with freshman Jake Fromm as the starter this season after his star sophomore went down with a knee injury in the opener but was cleared to return halfway through the year.

Eason was a top recruit in the 2016 class, regarded as the No. 2 pro-style quarterback in the country by 247Sports. He completed 55.1 percent of his passes with 16 touchdown passes and eight interceptions in 2016, when the Bulldogs finished 8-5.

With KJ Carta-Samuels transferring away from Washington, Sirmon, Yankoff, and Haener will battle for the backup spot this season.
