AIB Dispatches Investigators To Port Harcourt Over Dana Crash, Commences Investigation


Nigeria's aviation authorities on Wednesday opened an investigation into a passenger plane overshooting the runway in the southern city of Port Harcourt on Tuesday.

"We are grateful for the swift reaction of the emergency response teams and safe evacuation of all on board", the statement reads.

A passenger, Mr. Eru Omana, said the airline should have been temporarily suspended until proper investigations were concluded and the safety of the airline ascertained.
