Another bus accident leaves at least 44 people dead in Peru

At least 22 persons were killed in Peru after the coach in which they were traveling plunged off a cliff on the Pan-American Highway. Police say at least 34 other people were injured. Authorities don't know the cause of the accident but police are now looking at the number of passengers that the bus was carrying. "However, this does not match the number of people killed and injured", the ministry said.

Peruvian radio, RPP, updated the death count from 30 to 35 then to 44, while another 34 people were injured.
