West Ham overcame Watford 2-0 in a game with plenty of chances at the London Stadium on Saturday, putting the Hammers level on points with their opponents in the middle of the Premier League table.

Evra, 36, was banned by UEFA from all European club competition until the end of the season and had his contract terminated by Marseille after he kicked at a supporter in November.

The former Manchester United star made 273 appearances for the English football giants from 2006 to 2014.

"Do I have any concerns? No, not from what he told me", said Moyes.

"I have spoken with Troy", Gracia said. He told me what happened, none at all.

Evra's new team-mate though believes that age isn't going to an issue for the player as he has shown a good attitude and has kept himself fit throughout the entire period.

"I'm hurt, I know David is hurt and I know the fans are unhappy and that makes me unhappy".

"No I wouldn't. But I think when you heard what the supporter said, you can understand it more".

Suarez also set up the second goal, finding Rakitic for an easy goal from inside the area after a breakaway in the 82nd minute. Valencia boss Marcelino said as he gave his reflections on the game: "I think they ( Barcelona ), in general, were superior.

Watford have won three of the last five clashes against West Ham and the Hornets must come into this game full of momentum and confidence after the way they defeated Chelsea.

"I'd considered signing him during January as, when Arthur got sent off, I knew we were short". "He's not far away in my eyes as he has been training He played in November, he's no different from someone whose had a long injury so getting back playing quickly is the best thing you can do".

Moyes reiterated that his own West Ham future would be discussed at the end of the season after a week in which the club issued an official statement to deny reports from The Telegraph that he was unlikely to stay on beyond then regardless of whether or not he kept them in the top-flight. "We've got a very good team when everybody's fit".

"From that point of view we will wait until the end of the season".
