And this is just the warm-up for some fundamental changes to Disney's ticketing programs yet to come later this year.

At Disneyland, "regular", one-day, one-park tickets will be $117, a $7 increase.

But it hasn't gone to the point of pricing Disneyland higher than California Adventure on a one-day ticket, the way that it does with the Magic Kingdom versus the other three Walt Disney World parks in Florida. The hike comes after Disney reported increased attendance at its theme parks in its first-quarter. That's a $4 increase over past year. Peak season tickets increased by $5, up to $129 for adults and $123 for children. "Regular" day prices for adults is $114 and $108 for children, while "peak tickets are at $122 for adult and $116 for children".

At Epcot, Hollywood Studios and Animal Kingdom, "value" one-day tickets will now be $102 for adults and $96 for children, which is a $2 bump for both. The new prices still reflect the amusement parks' ticketing policies that reflect popular visiting hours, with value-priced tickets, regular tickets and peak-priced tickets.

Disneyland ticket prices are seeing the biggest increases.

Annual pass prices at California's Disneyland are going up by as much as almost 18 percent, as Disney looks to better balance its crowd levels throughout the year. For non-Florida residents, a platinum pass went from $779 to $849.
