A helicopter tour in the Grand Canyon this weekend ended in a fiery crash, killing three of the seven people onboard crashed and injuring four others, the police said.
Hualapai Nation Police Chief Francis Bradley confirmed the deaths to Phoenix TV station KPHO, the AP said.
The helicopter had been carrying a pilot and six passengers.

Teddy Fujimoto told CNN affiliate KSNV he was in the area taking photographs when he witnessed the aftermath of the crash.

Allen Kenitzer with the Federal Aviation Administration Officer of Communications said Eurocopter EC130 crashed under unknown circumstances in the Grand Canyon.
He did not have other details about the crash.
The Federal Aviation Administration and the National Transportation Safety Board will investigate, Kenitzer said. He added that flying in the Grand Canyon can be treacherous simply because of the number of helicopters there.
