Following weeks of speculation, Armenian worldwide Mkhitaryan eventually completed his transfer to the Emirates from Manchester United last month, as part of a swap deal that saw Alexis Sanchez head in the other direction.

Mkhitaryan told SFR Sport: "Mourinho required a lot from the players".
