Daniel Fierro, a former staffer for fellow California lawmaker Ian Calderon, alleges that Garcia-whom he said appeared to be drunk-groped him following a softball game.

The former aides, three of whom remained anonymous from fear of retaliation, also said in the Rendon letter that "Ms. Garcia commonly and pervasively used vulgar language with, to, at and around staff".

David John Kernick, 38, who worked in Garcia's office in 2014, told Politico he was sacked after five months for questioning the Democrat and #MeToo activist's decision to make her staff play "spin the bottle" after a fundraiser.

A state legislator from the Los Angeles area was accused of urging staffers to play "spin the bottle" in a booze-fueled hotel party after a political fundraiser, it was reported Sunday. He said Kernick was warned for not doing his job, was encouraged to do better and was sacked when his work did not improve.

Before the first round of charges broke earlier this month, Ms. Garcia had pushed the feminist line about sexual harassment and complained about being the victim herself. He said Garcia fired him two days after writing him up.

In mounting allegations against the California Assemblywoman Garcia, 38, who was at the helm of the #Metoo movement, was also accused of sexually harassing a former legislative staffer in 2014. Kernick said the write-up prevented him from finding another job in politics.

"If Mr. Kernick wants to talk about his time working there, then he ought to open up his own personnel records and let people see what was written in there", Reardon said.

In a statement posted on Facebook on Wednesday, Garcia said that she "will address each of these issues individually after the investigations into these allegations are closed".

He said he never received any formal or informal complaints about Garcia or the office environment during his time as chief of staff.

"It's like a malicious, really freakish alternate universe built on a lot of innuendo and lies exclusively to destroy to character of Assemblywoman Garcia", Reardon said.
