Nokia's first dual-camera Android One smartphone appears ahead of MWC 2018


Nokia 1 Images Leaked: HMD global is coming with a new smartphone that runs on Android and under the brand of Nokia, i.e., Nokia 1.

The phone isn't actually official, but Nokia might unveil it at MWC 2018 later this month. These renders were leaked by popular leakster Evan Blass. It will have a will have a 6 inch display with an 18:9 aspect ratio hence, the "Plus" moniker. Over at the back, you'll find a dual-camera that uses ZEISS optics.

Nokia 7 Plus is rumored to be launched with a Snapdragon 660 processor paired with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage space. First, there's the Nokia 7 Plus. There's a dual rear camera setup with 12MP +13MP sensors, one of which enables 2x optical zoom.

It's also believed that the upcoming smartphone will be supported by major USA mobile carriers. The device features a smaller display that's believed to have a 720p HD screen resolution. The smartphone is expected to have 1GB RAM and 8GB storage space. There's no other word on what the Nokia 1 might bring to the table, unfortunately, but it will likely offer a pretty cheap price tag. To recall, Android Oreo (Go edition) was launched late previous year as an operating system designed for entry-level smartphones with 1GB of RAM or lower. So you shouldn't be surprised that the Nokia 7 Plus is launching on a Sunday, plus this is not HMD Global's first launch on a weekend.
