Paul Pierce Gets No. 34 Retired By Celtics

The biggest sporting event of Sunday was Cavaliers-Celtics in Boston as the new-look Cavs took to the floor for the first time on the day when Boston was set to retire Paul Pierce's jersey.

James stole Pierce's spotlight with 24 points, 10 assists and eight rebounds to power the Cavaliers to a statement 121-99 victory against former teammate Kyrie Irving and the Celtics in a battle of Eastern Conference heavyweights at TD Garden. Kyle Korver is dishing 1.2 assists and JR Smith is grabbing 2.9 rebounds.

Everybody seems to be back on the Cleveland Cavaliers bandwagon, but we have yet to see how they're going to play with a new roster. The Celtics will treat this as a statement game and get the job done, covering the reasonable number.
