Superstar Rajinikanth's 'Kaala' to release on April 27, not 'Enthiran' sequel '2.0'


Since Lyca Productions is producing 2.0 and distributing Kaala, the makers have chose to release at least one of Rajinikanth's films this summer.

The film replaces "2.0", which could release only months later. Since VFX studios across the globe have been entrusted with creating the graphics, the makers were finding it hard to release the film on 27 April as announced earlier. Last evening, the poster of the film was revealed by actor-director Dhanush.

The much awaited and highly anticipated Indian movie this year, Rajinikanth-Akshay Kumar starrer 2.0's release has been postponed even further now! 11 studios around the world are working on the VFX and other special effects in the Rs 450 crore magnum opus. The story begins with him as a child, when he ran away from Chennai to Mumbai and went on to become a powerful gangster from Dharavi. In the poster, Rajinikanth looks savage and seems to fight for the rights of people.

Tamil superstar Rajinikanth's upcoming "Kaala" directed by Pa Ranjith is all set to hit the screens on April 27, producer of the movie and actor Dhanush said today.
