The hybrid-powered BP23 will be built by McLaren Special Operations (MSO), the "skunkworks" responsible for designing the firm's Ultimate Series cars. The iconic road auto broke speed records back in 1998 and set new heights in engineering with its lavish use of carbon-fiber and more. Only 106 BP23s will be built, the exact same number of F1s produced. The BP23's production name has yet to be announced, but we know it won't follow the alphanumerical strategy used for lesser McLarens so far.

When the McLaren Senna finishes its production run of 500 vehicles, the Ayrton Senna homage auto will see a track-only version based on the Senna GTR Concept being shown in Geneva.

Other modifications for the Senna GTR include polycarbonate "ticket" window designs, door panels that are pulled inward for better aerodynamics, and a revised windscreen for track use. Further development of the BP23 is now underway at McLaren Special Operations (MSO), dedicated producers of McLaren Ultimate Series cars.

The next addition to the McLaren Ultimate Series will be both the fastest-ever and the most luxurious McLaren.

The Walt Disney Company (DIS): What's the Story?
Walt Disney comprises 1.4% of QUANTRES ASSET MANAGEMENT Ltd's investment portfolio, making the stock its 7th biggest position. The stock of Edwards Lifesciences Corporation (NYSE:EW) earned "Buy" rating by Canaccord Genuity on Thursday, February 1.

The BP23, which stands for "bespoke, project two, three seater", will, as the name implies, retain the F1's center seating position with two seats flanking the driver, but it won't chase lap records with its top-speed figure. It's said to be capable of exceeding 243mph, which is faster than the once record-breaking McLaren F1 of the nineties.

We'll have to wait until the end of the year to see the final vehicle, and production isn't expected to begin until the end of 2019.
