Now, a report by XDA Developers hints that Android P will add the Bluetooth HID device profile service to your smartphone. The first smartphones to receive this feature is probably the next Google Pixel series this year, so we will just have to wait and see. This will allow users to use their smartphone as keyboard or mouse. Samsung's Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S9 comes with DeX support that allows you to use your smartphone as a trackpad, and you can even hook up a monitor and a keyboard to transform it onto a PC. However, folks at XDA Developers have now discovered two commits (basically, changes) in the Android Open Source Project (AOSP) for Android P which enable the Bluetooth HID device profile service.

Jaguar's Electric SUV 2019 I-PACE Cheaper than Tesla's Model X
The 2019 I-Pace is priced at $70,495 with the destination fees, before you apply any federal or state tax incentives. Already there are 207 Jaguar and Land Rover dealerships across the US - those will also get an electric upgrade.

The publication writes that Android P, known internally as "Pistachio Ice Cream" at Google, will support the Bluetooth HID (Human Interface Device) profile, which allows a handset to function as a Bluetooth mouse or keyboard. That's what you need to turn a device into a keyboard or mouse. But it seems like the giant is finally agreeing on the concept and they are now coming with it with the new Android P operating system. The report mentions that the relevant APIs of the feature have been un-hidden, suggesting that the Android devices running on Android P will be able to use the feature. What's more, the new Android OS may also support native call recording feature.

Red Bull's junior team was limited to just 54 laps after not taking to the track at all for the final three and a half hours. However, McLaren managed to get him out for a couple of installation laps just before the chequered flag fell for lunch.

Companies like Samsung and Huawei have already shown us how smartphones can be connected to a computer and used as a mobile workstation, and while this new Android P feature may not be as great as what these companies have to offer, it still won't be bound by an specific ecosystem (as in their case). We would let you update with every single updates made by the giant in the coming days.
