Church of Scientology Announces New TV Network


The church announced on its official Twitter account Sunday that the Scientology Network will debut Monday (8 ET/5 PT).

According to the video, programming will include original shows such as L. Ron Hubbard: In His Own Voice, Inside Scientology, Meet a Scientologist, Destination: Scientology and Voices For Humanity.

The controversial religion is reportedly ready to launch a channel on DirectTV and platforms Apple TV and Roku on tomorrow - Monday, March 12.

Apparently, the organization ratcheted up its media presence in recent years, making an announcement of its own production studio Scientology Media Productions in 2016.

The church, led by David Miscavige, has long had lofty ambitions to reach more people. The church has bought 30-second ads during the Super Bowl.
