Delhi HC refuses to ground entire fleet of IndiGos A320neo

"IndiGo has cancelled certain flights due to the grounding of our aircraft further to the DGCA directions which has been issued in the interest of safety", the airline said.

Even as Indigo and GoAir announced cancellations of close to 630 domestic flights this month, Union Minister of State for Civil Aviation Jayant Sinha on Friday said that it was important to note that this was just 2% of capacity and that with two new planes being added every week, the government expected supply-demand to be back in balance quickly. "Alternate arrangements are made or offered to minimise impact and inconvenience; in cases where appropriate, free cancellation and re-booking options have been made available", the airline said. Citing the threat posed to passenger safety, the flight regulator DGCA ordered IndiGo and GoAir to ground all its flights powered with Pratt & Whitney engines.

Separately, there are also reports that Apple is working on a low-end iPhone, which would launch only in India and China. Moreover, in terms of pricing, Apple moving to an iPhone X-like design would be irrelevant for the iPhone SE 2 .

Amid growing concerns over cancellation of numerous flights by IndiGo after grounding of its 11 Airbus A320neo aircrafts, the carrier cleared that it is operating at 96 per cent of its strength. IndiGo's cancellations include 36 daily flights in March 15 to 21; 18 daily flights in March 22 to 24; and 16 cancelled in March 25 to 31.

The airlines' sites said IndiGo will cancel 488 flights during March 15 to 31 and GoAir 138 in March 15 to 22.

Marshall upsets Wichita State for first NCAA Tournament win in school history
WSU still had a chance, as Frankamp came up with a clutch three-pointer with 46 seconds left to cut Marshall's lead to 78-75. In the end, Marshall knocked down 9 of 23 (39.1 percent) from 3-point range, providing enough cushion to pull away late.

On the other hand, Wadia group-promoted GoAir showed that the airline has cancelled seven daily flights to 10 destinations between March 16 and March 24 apart from cancelling six services per week between March 15 and March 22. While an IndiGo spokesperson said the airline follows all the guidelines as per the relevant provisions of the applicable regulations, to the same query, a GoAir spokesperson said, "We follow the process as specified by DGCA in its CAR (Civil Aviation Requirement)".

The Delhi High Court today refused to ground the entire fleet of IndiGos A320neo aircraft on a plea alleging the planes have defective engines. "The same has also been published on our website".

Apple Announces Upcoming March 27 Event Focused on Education
Apple has invited media to an education-focused event in Chicago, which will be held on March 27th at a local high school. Last year, Apple released cheaper iPads, which are easier to sell in bulk to schools and more affordable for students.

If we take the data, such leads to cancellation of a total 488 flights by end of March for Indigo.
